B. At the time PFC Case was Killed In Action the Americal Division and the 132nd Infantry Regiment were conducting combat operations in Cebu Province, Central Visayas, Philippines during March 1945.
C. Hospital Admission Records indicate that PFC Case was "Not in Medical Installation Prior to Death" and died as a result of unknown combat wounds.
